Frequently Asked Questions 

  • What hours are the festival?
    Friday 5-Midnight Saturday 11am-Midnight Sunday 11am-5pm
  • Do I have to pay for a wristband jus to go listen to the bands?
    Admission wristbands or carnival Mega Pass wristbands are needed to listen to the bands, however, no individual show tickets are needed! Admission wristbands are good for Friday & Saturday. Sunday is family day and wristbands are not needed. Children 7 and under are free. Unlimited weekend wristbands (mega pass) or unlimited day passes will include admission wristbands at no additional cost. All the details for wristbands can be found at byronfest.org/wristbands including a list of locations you can get them in advance. Advance sales end Thursday the week of ByronFest at noon.
  • Are businesses on 2nd street open?
    Most of the businesses on 2nd Street during the festival ARE OPEN! Please make sure to check directly with the business on their hours and to support them throughout the weekend!
  • Where do I park?
    Parking for the festival is limited, please carpool when possible! A majority of parking for ByronFest is street parking, please keep an eye out for any parking regulation signage. Handicap parking in the Byron Bank parking lot (access from 3rd and Washington St) and Bonvallet Dental parking lot (access from RT2 & Walnut)
  • Does my child need a festival wristband if they have a carnival wristband?
    If they have an unlimited weekend (mega pass) or an unlimited day pass for the carnival, they will be able to get into the main festival area WITHOUT an admission wristband! Keep in mind: Children 7 and under are free Sunday is family day & wristbands are NOT required
  • What hours are the carnival?
    Friday 5-11pm Saturday 11am-11pm Sunday 11am-5pm The festival runs the same hours!
  • How much is a unlimited weekend pass OR Mega pass?
    Check out byronfest.org/carnival for prices! Keep in mind, carnival passes will not require an additional admission wristband?
  • What's a MEGA PASS?
    A mega pass or an unlimited weekend pass for the carnival will allow you to have all weekend with unlimited rides! We also offer a unlimited DAY pass, that acts the same for the day that you are at the festival. An admission wristband is NOT needed with either carnival pass! More information on prices, etc. can be found at byronfest.org/carnival
  • What are the rules?
    Rules for the Bags Tournament can be found at byronfest.org/bags
  • Can I sign up day of?
    Yes, as long as spot are still available. Cost does go up for late registration - so go to byronfest.org/bags to get registered - you may register online or at Weezy's Sports Bar and Grill!
  • Where can I register?
    Register online at byronfest.org/bags OR in-person at Weezy's Sports Bar & Grill
  • What is the cost to be in the parade?
    Registration is FREE! Register today at byronfest.org/parade
